Experience
Ruth is an Associate within the advisory team at Capsticks’ London office.
Ruth has experience and expertise on a range of healthcare and public law matters including Court of Protection, inquests, judicial review, public inquiries and human rights. Prior to joining us, Ruth worked at the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and trained at a civil liberties firm.
Expertise
Ruth has a particular interest in Court of Protection and inquest matters. Her work has largely included supporting and advising clients and witnesses often on highly sensitive proceedings including, but not limited to, deprivations of liberty, provision of care and medical treatment.
Ruth also has significant experience of assisting with large multi-party actions in public inquiry, civil litigation and employment tribunal settings.
