NHS Groups, Joint Working and Collaboration
We are pleased to be hosting a NHS Groups, Joint Working and Collaboration seminar on Wednesday 25 October in Birmingham.
The seminar will provide practical tips on setting up NHS groups and other forms of joint working, as well as sharing insights from collaborations throughout the country. Topics to be covered include:
- The new NHS landscape and what it means for collaboration and system working
- Committees-in-common; joint committees or a Group Board – what is the right governance structure for your collaboration?
- Making effective joint appointments and avoiding potential pitfalls
- Commissioning health services from NHS groups and collaboratives
We will also be joined by Peter Jenkinson, Director of Corporate Governance at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Richard Apps, Director of Governance at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group who will share practical insights from their experience of setting up an acute provider collaborative and NHS group respectively.
Attendees will be treated to an engaging and lively discussion from our speakers and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
Tea, coffee and pastries will be available on registration and a buffet lunch will be provided after the seminar.
