The news that the former St George's Hospital site in Hornchurch has been sold for housing, has made me pause this morning and reflect on the progress that has been made in this area.

We are working with a number of NHS organisations and housing providers on deals that see health and housing working together.  These projects are often innovative and bring fantastic new investment in local communities.

Whilst simple land sales still play a pivotal role, we are helping some forward thinking organisations to secure ongoing revenue /share of profits in these schemes.  Other clients are using deals like this to secure delivery of much needed facilities - from step-down accommodation to clinical space.

As the Naylor Review encourages more NHS organisations to consider these deals, come and speak to us about the possible benefits of a partnership structure.

Health and housing, working together, can be so much more than the sum of its parts.
