An interesting judgment that finds that the existing statutory protection against discrimination under the Equality Act 2010 can be interpreted to cover discrimination against someone because of their belief in Scottish independence. This is a first level decision so it will not bind future Tribunals. However, if followed, might it open the floodgates for claims from those who have felt discriminated against because of their views on Brexit?
