I’m not sure I necessarily agree with the points made in this article. I’ve been called bossy (when I’m trying to move things on or organise teams) which is a term which would never apply to men but I’ve ignored it and focused on the important stuff in getting the job done. That’s what is really important and how you will ultimately be judged. I’m sure there is similar feedback given to men which is just as irritating but the proof will be in the delivery rather than getting irritated about labels.

A woman who asserts herself is judged as bossy and aggressive because it goes against our stereotype of what feminine behaviour ought to be. So the answer isn't just to imitate men."
