Welcome to the Introduction to our “step-by-step” video series, helping you to prepare for the introduction of the Procurement Act 2023 (the Act).

This will take you through the Act, following the lifecycle of a procurement process from planning the procurement and pre market engagement all the way through to contract termination. It will be of interest to all procurement professionals working across the public sector and anyone procuring for, or delivering public contracts.

In this brief introduction Mary Mundy and Katrina Day explain what the series covers and provides some background to the Procurement Act 2023, which is due to “go-live” on 28 October 2024 and replace the existing procurement regime.
