Experience
Alice joined Capsticks as a paralegal in the Regulatory team in 2020, and after commencing her training contract in 2023, qualified as a solicitor in 2024. Alice conducts fitness to practise (FTP) investigations including the preparation of cases for FTP hearings for a variety of healthcare and non-healthcare regulators.
Alice has worked for a range of clients including the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), General Dental Council (GDC) and Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA). She has experience in conducting complex/high profile cases including those involving multiple registrants, serious sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment, clinical competency and dishonesty.
Alice completed a secondment with the NMC in 2021, within their Screening Team.
Expertise
Alice is particularly experienced in supporting vulnerable witnesses involved in sensitive cases and individuals with additional needs. She has extensive experience in drafting complex witness statements and case reports, preparing evidence bundles and instructing experts.
CSR activity
Alice is an active member of the Winchester CSR committee and CREATE sub-committee in Winchester. She has been involved in organising events to raise money for Solent Mind, as well as celebration events for South Asian Heritage Month and Black History Month. Alice is also a member of the Winchester office netball team.
