Experience
Hannah is a newly qualified solicitor in our Advisory team, following the completion of her training contract at another national law firm, specialising in health and social care legal services. Hannah joined Capsticks in September 2024.
Hannah has previously worked as a healthcare litigation paralegal prior to the commencement of her training contract.
Hannah deals with Court of Protection cases, inquests and general healthcare advisory queries.
Expertise
Hannah has experience of assisting with inquests and advising in relation to the Mental Capacity Act, particularly advising healthcare clients in relation to Court of Protection applications and proceedings where there is challenge.
Hannah has external experience in clinical negligence claims and has previously assisted an NHS Trust by way of a secondment within their legal team with the management of these claims and their inquests, providing support to clinical professionals. She has also assisted ICBs in the management of their Court of Protection applications for those individuals living in independent supported living placements, in which their package of care amounted to a deprivation of liberty.
