Jenny Wood

Jenny trained at Capsticks and qualified in 2012. Now a Partner, she has prepared numerous fitness to practise cases for the General Dental Council including cases involving complex clinical conduct, deficient professional performance, health, fraud and dishonesty issues. She has also acted for other healthcare regulators, including the Nursing & Midwifery Council, and has experience of handling appeal cases before the High Court as well as defending judicial review proceedings.
Jenny has also advised and represented NHS England on contractual disputes and performance management issues relating to healthcare practitioners. She has also advised NHS Trusts in relation to Care Quality Commission inspections.
Jenny has undertaken two secondments, one to a statutory regulator and the other to NHS England where she assisted the in-house legal team and provided advice on a range of issues relating to its management of primary care practitioners.
