Experience
Having trained in a niche employment law practice, Jonathan has continued to specialise in employment law since qualification and advises on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. Jonathan has a particular interest in advising on disciplinary and grievance processes, investigations, and litigation.
Jonathan has experience representing both Claimants and Respondents in Employment Tribunals and has considerable experience litigating unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims. Jonathan also has experience assisting clients in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and High Court.
Jonathan has represented a broad range of clients in both the private and public sectors and has experience advising on high value and complex litigation.
Expertise
Jonathan has experience advising organisations within all of the sectors serviced by Capsticks, with a particular focus on representing Housing Associations. Jonathan has advised Housing Associations on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues and has recently advised Housing Associations on the impact of changes to IR-35, the implementation of remote working policies as a result of Covid-19, and the drafting and implementation of equality policies.
