Keziah Pearson

Keziah is a Partner within the Regulatory Team at Capsticks. She has extensive experience in triaging, investigating and preparing cases for hearing for several healthcare and non-healthcare regulatory bodies. Keziah is the Operations Lead for one of our largest regulatory clients, Social Work England where she oversees a team of 40+ solicitors, advocates and paralegals. Keziah provides advice to our regulatory clients on a broad range of issues including the implementation of new policy, operational process improvements and public facing guidance.
Keziah has experience in dealing with high profile cases, complex clinical matters, fraud, sexual misconduct/ breach of professional boundaries, and allegations against multiple registrants. Keziah has worked on several High Court appeals and has prepared numerous interim order extension applications. Keziah has also represented registered individuals during regulatory proceedings, including defending cases against the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service of the General Medical Council, the Health & Care Professions Council and the General Chiropractic Council.
Notable projects
- Completed secondments for the Nursing Midwifery Council, the General Dental Council, Social Work England, and acted as the Interim Head of Panel Management for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
- Prepared a successful High Court appeal against the Solicitor Disciplinary Tribunal’s decision in high profile case (SRA v AG, VF and DP) - SRA v Good [2019] EWHC 817 (Admin)
- Instructed by a large healthcare regulator to undertake a review and provide advice on a high profile independent inquiry
