Experience
Louise is a Principal Associate specialising in emergency services law and professional misconduct, disciplinary and fitness to practise proceedings. Louise represents professional agencies and regulatory bodies at misconduct hearings. She also has extensive experience in case progression, including advising on complex areas of disciplinary procedure and evidence.
Louise has also represented police forces at inquests, handling sensitive cases whilst managing challenging disclosure issues, achieving successful outcomes on behalf of her clients.
Louise qualified as a criminal defence solicitor and military law specialist in 2009, before joining Hampshire Constabulary’s in-house legal team in 2011. An experienced advocate, Louise has also prosecuted cases on behalf of other agencies including the Royal Mail, and the Marine Fisheries Agency.
As a result of her diverse practice, Louise has appeared in the magistrates’ court, county & family courts, court martials, and employment tribunals.
As an experienced solicitor, Louise has developed and presented bespoke training to clients in respect of policy and legislation.
