Experience

Before joining Capsticks, Shardae practised in criminal law, acting for both prosecution and defence.

As well as all areas of criminal defence and prosecution work – including dishonesty, violence, fraud, drug and sexual offences - Shardae developed a strong investigations practice, advising on police investigations for the Attorney General of a British Territory and leading investigations at an Independent UK Inquiry.

Expertise

Shardae is a Senior Associate with significant experience in handling cases involving sexual misconduct, clinical conduct, fraud and dishonesty.

Shardae currently prepares fitness to practise cases on behalf of the Nursing Midwifery Council as well as preparing and presenting interim and substantive review hearings on behalf of Social Work England.
