Capsticks have advised Sovereign Network Group on the establishment of its £1.5 billion-euro medium-term note (EMTN) Programme, which was published on 31 March 2025.

The EMTN Programme is linked to Sovereign Network Group’s Sustainable Finance Framework, which sets out the organisation’s commitment to environmental and social principles. It also supports Sovereign Network Group’s commitment to deliver 25,000 new homes in the next 10 years.

The Capsticks team acted for Sovereign Network Group on the debt capital markets aspects of the Programme, as well as advising on the charging of a portfolio of properties. Naomi Roper (Head of Banking) headed up the banking team, assisted by Georgia Moon, while Susie Rogers (Head of Portfolio Transactions) headed up the property team.

Anup Dholakia, Director of Treasury at Sovereign Network Group, said: “The Capsticks team were invaluable in enabling SNG to launch the EMTN programme. Continuing their support for the sector, Capsticks demonstrated commercial acumen, pragmatism and dedication to ensure the programme establishment ran smoothly.”

Chimi Shakohoxha, Head of Housing at Capsticks, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have been able to assist Sovereign Network Group on the establishment of their EMTN Programme, which will help Sovereign Network Group continue to build thriving communities.”
