Capsticks has been successful in its bid to join Eastlight Community Homes’s panel of legal advisors following a competitive tender process. Its housing team will advise Eastlight Community Group on development, housing management, employment, corporate and finance matters.

Eastlight Community Homes operates over 12,000 homes across Essex and Suffolk, making it the largest Community Gateway Association in the country, with ambitions to create a further 3,800 safe, affordable homes and neighbourhoods by 2025.

The new framework agreement will be the foundation for a partnership between Capsticks and Eastlight Community Homes for up to four years. Capsticks specialist legal services will span across all six lots of the framework, including:

• Property management and development, including acquisition and leases, estate and tendency matters, social housing and Right to Buy
• Corporate and finance, encompassing employment law, finance, joint ventures and capital advice, corporate law, as well as, procurement processes and insurance.

The framework will commence 28 January 2023.
