Capsticks is celebrating the new financial year with a record number of promotions. A total of 47 promotions across our legal and business service teams have been announced, with two Equity Partners, three Partners, seven Legal Directors, six promotions across Business Service teams, 13 Principal Associates, two Senior Associates and 14 Senior Paralegals.

Equity Partner Promotions

Mary Mundy (Corporate & Commercial) Mary will join the equity group and continue to lead the firm’s procurement practice as well as being the Deputy Head of our Healthcare sector. 

Spencer Vella Sultana (Housing & Regeneration) Spencer will also join the equity group and continue to lead a substantial housing and regeneration practice nationally as well as heading up the Capsticks Winchester office. With Spencer’s support our housing and regeneration practice has grown to £7m since joining us in 2017.

Partner Promotions

From 1 May 2024, Jeremy Loran, currently a Principal Associate, Barrister; Jonathan Lewis, currently a Principal Associate and Nalton Stembari, currently a Legal Director, will be promoted to Salaried Partner.

Jeremy Loran (Advisory), will be focussed on supporting clients in the healthcare sector nationally. He will also be leading a team of Advisory specialists in London with a focus on client relationship management and people development.

Jonathan Lewis (Employment & Pensions), will focus on supporting NHS healthcare clients, regulatory bodies and clients in the housing sector, in the East and West Midlands with their employment and pension matters.

Nalton Stembari (Housing & Regeneration), will be focussed on developing Capsticks’ established plot sales team, with a particular responsibility for growing our plot sales team in Manchester office, to enable the firm to support a broader number of housing clients in the North of England.
