Capsticks reappoints Managing Partner for a third term
13/12/22Capsticks are delighted to announce that Martin Hamilton has been reappointed as the firm’s Managing Partner for a further term through to April 2026. Martin has been Managing Partner since 2017.
Key achievements during Martin’s tenure include:
- Year-on-year delivery of Capsticks’ vision to be go-to advisers to clients in the Health and Social Care; Housing; Regulatory; and Emergency Services sectors, with the firm’s turnover since 2017 increasing from £35m to £62m.
- Through the firm’s “motivated teams” strategy, an emphasis on people first, with key initiatives including an ambitious equity, diversity and inclusion strategy and plan, the opening of a flagship office hub in central Birmingham designed for hybrid working, and our accreditation as an outstanding place to work (Best Companies, December 2021).
- The development of Capsticks’ work into new practice areas in line with our strategy, including local authority work following our appointment in 2021 to the East Midlands Lawshare framework and the opening of our Colchester hub in April 2022 to deliver insurance work.
Martin joined Capsticks in December 1997 and was Head of Employment at the firm from 2010 to 2018. Martin is a member of the firm’s Senior Management Team along with Rachael Heenan (Senior Partner) and Neil Middleton (Chief Operating Officer).
