Capsticks is delighted to announce that Paul McFarlane has joined the Employment team as a Legal Director from 29 May.

Previously at Weightmans, Paul has over 20 years’ experience advising both public and private sector clients on a wide range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. This includes advising on complex employment disputes and all aspects of industrial relations law. He is experienced in providing a full range of employment law advice to healthcare, police and emergency services clients.

Since 2016 Paul has been chair of the Employment Lawyers Association’s Legislative & Policy Committee, which produces responses to government consultation papers on forthcoming employment legislation. He regularly comments on employment and equality law issues in the broadcast media (radio and TV) and writes articles for the national, legal and HR press.
