  • TXB v Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust - acted for the defendant. £39 million settlement in January 2023. The claimant suffered multiple amputations.  
  • Darnley v Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, [2018] UKSC 50 – Supreme Court decision on the duty of A&E receptionists and the responsibility of patients to wait for treatment. 
  • Harding v Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust,[2017] EWHC 2393 – successful defence of brain injury claim following substandard A&E care.
  • Nicholas v Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, 2012 EWHC 591 – successful defence of brain injury claim following vascular surgery.
  • Newman v Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, 2010 EWHC 171 - successful defence of a claim in respect of treatment of a spinal epidural abscess.
  • Markose v Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust, (2005) Lloyd's Rep Med 334 - successful defence of an informed consent claim following spinal surgery.
