Experience
Emily is an Associate in the Capsticks Regulatory team. Her professional focus is on regulatory investigations; in particular, she conducts Fitness to Practise matters on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Expertise
Before joining Capsticks, Emily developed her legal expertise in regulatory and public law. As a junior lawyer, she gained significant experience across the public and healthcare sectors, providing litigation support to local government, NHS Trusts, and private healthcare providers. She also worked with public and commercial clients on sensitive and high-profile inquest matters. Before training, Emily gained additional experience working on a large-scale statutory inquiry and in criminal defence.
