Larissa is an Associate in the Regulatory team and specialises in Fitness to Practise investigations, predominantly working for the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Expertise
Before joining Capsticks in January 2025, Larissa trained and qualified with a ranked Legal 500 firm, specialising in healthcare regulatory and inquest law. She has worked primarily for healthcare registrants facing Fitness to Practise investigations before a number of regulators and conducted complex and high profile cases including those involving allegations of sexual misconduct, clinical competency and dishonesty.
Larissa also has experience representing healthcare registrants before Coroners at Inquests, regularly including those involving sensitive subject-matters and high-profile Interested Persons. She has also developed her practice through conducting her own advocacy on behalf of registrants both before the Coroner and their regulators at Interim Order hearings.
