Experience
Lizzie is a Senior Associate in the Inquests and Advisory team. Having trained at a panel firm, Lizzie gained experience in clinical law with seats in clinical negligence and healthcare and regulatory law. Lizzie undertook two client secondments to two busy NHS Trusts where she assisted with clinical negligence claims, inquests and general healthcare queries.
Expertise
Lizzie advises on a broad range of issues for our NHS and healthcare clients including inquests, the Mental Capacity Act, Court of Protection issues and general healthcare queries; both contentious and non-contentious. Lizzie also represents our NHS and healthcare clients at inquests and pre-inquest reviews.
Lizzie is responsible for the day-to-day running of the inquest management service. This involves assisting with the preparation of witness statements, liaising with the courts, advising clinicians on the inquest process and attending hearings.
