Experience
Shannon is an Associate Barrister in the Regulatory Division. Prior to being called to the Bar in 2019, Shannon taught Physics to students aged 11-18. Shannon’s legal career began practising crime at the independent bar and in-house at the Crown Prosecution Service. More recently, Shannon has acted for the Health and Care Professions Council presenting substantive and interim hearings and advising on case direction and evidence.
Expertise
Shannon has amassed experience advising on and presenting cases for the Health and Care Professions Council. Shannon received particular praise from the panel for the way she presented an allegation of serious sexual assault involving a vulnerable witness. The panel commended the approach she adopted in order to support the witness and successfully conclude the case within the listing.
