On Tuesday 24 September we hosted a webinar that explored lessons learned from our panellists' vast experience in mergers in the social housing sector.
Our Housing Partners Naomi Roper and Darren Hooker (who have acted on some of the most high profile mergers in the sector) were joined by Paul Fiddaman, Group Chief Executive at Karbon Homes and David Williams, Partner at Campbell Tickell.
Our panel shared their experience and expertise by exploring the processes involved in achieving a successful merger, from looking at the due diligence process, liaising with funders over consent requirements and amending loan portfolios, engaging with stakeholders and ensuring a strong cultural fit.
