Senior Litigation Executive
Karen is a highly experienced litigator and advocate. With a background in local authority work including cases in the County Court and the Magistrates Court, she is agile and efficient at progressing cases. Karen has extensive experience of: housing management cases such as possession and anti-social behaviour injunctions; asset management cases including disrepair and advising pursuant to the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018 and general litigation.
For many years, Karen provided support and assistance at the front line to tenants under the Legal Aid funding regime. As such, she is ideally placed to advise social housing providers on best practice and is innovative in implementing providers’ requests. Pragmatic and astute, Karen managed an extensive team of fee earners for a number of years. She is a team player at heart and thrives in a busy environment.
